PWLLHELI

Whilst the most famous of the towns on the peninsula, because of the holiday parks around it, the town it'self, to me, has little to redeem it'self. I point to 'Google Street View' since there is little worth adding to other than the stations which once brought the holiday makers with the terminus here and individual stations serving the camps. Now single track where once there were at least four. We will confine ourselves to the stations and views across the bay from one such park, operated by 'Haven'.

Abererch station. A mere shadow now, seemingly in the depths of no-where.
Penychain station. Note the crowd controlling ramps to the station and the length of the remaining platform for a station, near in the wilds, receiving a few two car units a day (when the line is open!). This served the giant 'Butlins' camp behind. Now operated by 'Haven' a part of the same group.
